HG Woodworks CIC Terms and Conditions Effective Date: 29 September 2025
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in woodwork classes provided by HG Woodworks CIC (“we”, “our”, or “us”), a social enterprise based in the UK. By booking or attending a class, you (“participant” or “you”) agree to these Terms.
- Booking Conditions
- All class bookings should be made through our designated third-party booking platform and payment provider. The exception to this are 121 classes and private group sessions, contact us directly to arrange.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure your place.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your booking details are correct at the time of payment.
- Once payment is confirmed by the third-party provider, you will receive a booking confirmation by email.
- Our classes are open to individuals aged 18 years and over.
- Class Cancellation and Refunds
- If you are unable to attend a booked class, you can transfer or cancel the class without charge up to 24 hours before the start of the course on the booking platform. More notice is much appreciated.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, venue issues). In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
- Refunds will be processed via the original payment method through the third-party payment provider.
- Third-Party Services and Liability
- We use external providers to process bookings and payments. While we take care in selecting reliable partners, we cannot be held responsible for any errors, outages, delays, or security issues arising from the third-party platform or payment provider.
- Any issues relating to payment processing (e.g., failed transactions, duplicate charges, or delays in refunds) should be raised directly with the payment provider.
- We will provide reasonable assistance to help resolve such issues, but ultimate responsibility for payment processing lies with the third-party provider.
- By booking, you agree to also be bound by the terms and conditions of the third-party booking platform and payment provider.
- Use of Data
- We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Information you provide (e.g., name, contact details, health information relevant to participation) will be used only for class administration, safety, and communication purposes.
- We may use anonymised data for monitoring and reporting our social impact.
- We will never share your personal data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
